Since July 2002 Convekta
Ltd. (Chess
Assistant maker) is starting at its website http://www.ChessAssistant.com a new project of
commenting games of most interest being currently played at all of the major tournaments
throughout the world.
Commenting is produced by the Chess
Assistant program which includes one of the worlds strongest playing
programs Chess Tiger (rated 2722 after SSDF) as well as Opening Encyclopedia by GM
Kharitonov (the Champion of Moscow in 2002), games database and unique algorithms
for intellectual analysis, worked out by GM ICCF Blokh. All of these
features make analysing both an interesting and useful procedure and allow to reveal and
annotate all the key moments of a certain game.
Comments used to be made by the Athlon-1GHz computers which time for
thinking over each of the moves equalled 1 minute for a move. Once the computer discovered
any intensification, the analysis tree was growing longer. If a mistake in the same game
was detected, there was realized an additional calculation for the certain variation at
the first three semi-moves.
